The Charlevoix Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is committed to offering an effective, available parking system that services the needs of quick trippers and all-day shoppers, alike. In 1987, the DDA commenced acquiring underutilized downtown parcels and converting them into public parking opportunities. Over the past 20 years, the DDA has spent over $750,000 on lot acquisition and improvement and currently offers shoppers more than 275 available off-street parking places within its boundaries. Another 245 spaces are available on Bridge Street and Downtown’s side streets.
